Hi, what would happen if I was unable to work through illness or redundancy? I don’t think I would be able to get another job at my age and was wondering what would happen in this situation.
You are responsible for keeping up your loan repayments, however there is Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) available which would (subject to circumstances) ensure your payments were covered by your insurer.
